Rules and Guidelines for Events

We value transparency and clear communication. Here are some of our expectations and rules for participating in The Handmade Art & Items Bazaar. Our approach ensures that everything we do reflects our commitment to quality and integrity.

All Products Must be Handmade

The Bazaar was created to support artisans and creators and we do our best to be authentic to our original idea. All products and items at our market must be handmade by our creators. We will, however, allow reprints of a vendor's original art or photography on paper, canvas or other materials from print companies, the sale of patterns or kits designed or created by the vendor and the sale of supplies in some cases.

We Allow Multiple Vendors of the Same Medium

We recognize that you have your own style and we support that! We believe that having multiple artists showing off their own unique take on a medium adds to the diversity of the market and offers our patrons a better experience.

We Alone Reserve the Right to Request the Removal of an Item or Piece From Your Display

Art is subjective and provocative at times and does, unfortunately, have the ability to offend. This being said, we pride ourselves in allowing the freedom of expression and ask that no vendor infringes on this right of another's.

The organizers of this event do however reserve the right to ask for the removal of a piece or an item from your display if we believe something crosses the line of being publicly appropriate. This will be done at our own discretion and not at the request of another vendor.

On occasion, we also may ask for the removal of items that may cause concern for public safety (ex. Lack of labeling or safety warnings.)

Respect Isn't Optional

Not everyone is going to get along and we understand that! However, we will have absolutely no tolerance for harassment or bullying among our vendors OR from customers. This includes comments made online. Any violation of this rule will result in the immediate removal of said person from the Bazaar.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is a problem during an event. We will always do our best to resolve the situation!

We Do Not Accept Food Vendors

While we do, on occasion, invite food vendors to support our events we do not accept applications from them. We recognize they are artisans in their own right, but we focus on textile products.

Creating together

Understanding and adhering to these expectations and rules ensures that The Handmade Art & Items Bazaar remains a thriving community where artisans can showcase their talent and customers can discover unique, handmade treasures. We invite you to be a part of our story.
